I can’t believe that I haven’t done a Christmas blog post yet! Things have been pretty busy here at the Marr house. We held a wedding at our home the day before Christmas! The wedding was between a Tarahumara Indian couple at our church who recently became Christians and wanted to get married. Marriage is not typical in the culture of the Tarahumara Indians. In fact, they didn’t even know any one who had ever gotten married! So, that was a big step on their part.

Christmas pictures at our house
We had a good Christmas. We read Luke 2 and ate monkey bread for breakfast. That’s a family tradition here, lol. Later, we ate lunch, took a family picture and hoped in the car to go to a friend’s house.

Our new family picture. Finally, I might add. It’s not the best picture as you can see, with sticking out tongues (Philip) and slightly odd smiles (Susy). And I still haven’t figured out who little James is trying to look like, lol. But it works.
…And Happy New Year!
I can’t believe it’s 2018 already! Time flies. For New Years we…well… said, um, Happy New Year. No, fireworks or staying up till midnight. We’re a big family-we need sleep. Or we will have grumpy children for the first day of 2018.
Do you have any New Year resolutions? Specific plans for 2018? I would love to hear from you in the comments!
