Book Tag and Book Memes +Calculator Trick

So, my friend Amie kind of unofficially tagged for this tag. Because… I really wanted to do it!!! ๐Ÿ˜›ย

1. how many books are too many books in a book series?

Hmm.. Well, 300 books in a series is too many. But I have yet to find a book series withย that many books, so… Yeah. I’m actually not sure about this one… But more is usually better, unless you have the first book, and don’t have enough money to buy the rest… That’s just plain sad. ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

2. how do you feel about cliffhangers?

I love them. Except for when they are at the end of a book, and you don’t have the next one. *Cries just thinking about it*

3. hardback or paperback?

Paperback for sure. Hardback is supposed to mean better quality or something,. but paperback is just easier… To hold the book open. ๐Ÿ˜›

4. favorite book?

Wow. Ouch. No. Too hard. Ok, but two amazing books are The Star Under the City, and The Bronze Bow. Among other, lol. xD

5. least favorite book?

Do I have to have one? Cuz I can’t think of anything at the moment…

6. love triangles, yes or no?

Ummmm……. Huh?ย

tenor (2)

7. the most recent book you just couldnโ€™t finish?

I finish most all the books that I start. ๐Ÿ˜› ๐Ÿ˜€ย

8. a book youโ€™re currently reading?

Currently I’m reading 24 Days Before Christmas out loud to my sisters. ๐Ÿ™‚ nothing other that actually. Surprisingly…

10. oldest book youโ€™ve read? (publication date)

I actually do not know about this one… Sorry! I’d like to know myself!

11. newest book youโ€™ve read? (publication date)

12. favorite author?

Maggie Joy, Rebekah Jones, Christmas Carol Kaufman (Don’t ask me why she’s named that!), and Elizabeth George Speare… To name a few… Don’t make me pick just one of them!!!ย

13. buying books or borrowing books?

I guess borrowing books, since I don’t really have enough money to buy them… But I really haven’t done much of either… :Oย

14. a book you dislike that everyone else seems to love?

I don’t have a ton of books, and most of what I have, I like. Soooooo…..

15. bookmarks or dog-ears?

Both!!!!! If there’s a a piece of paper nearby, I’ll use it as a bookmark. If not. “Sorry book!!!”

16. a book you can always reread?

I reread EVERYTHING!!!!! xD But speaking of, I just have to say that I have read The Star Under the City 5 times. Since it was published early this year. IT’S SO GOOD!!!!!

17. can you read while hearing music?

Of course! I can read through a lot of things… ๐Ÿ˜›

18. one POV or multiple POVs?

I like multiple POVs. Too many can get confusing, but the story is often more comprehendible with more than one.

19. do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?

Depends on the book. I am definitelyย able to read a book in one sitting, but I don’t generally have that much time anymore, so… :/ย

20. who do you tag?

Hmmm…. YOU!!! Just ask in the comments of you can be tagged, and VOILA! Your’e it!!! Or you can simply answer the questions in the comments, which I would love. ๐Ÿ™‚ โคย

Welp, that’s the end!ย That was a LOT of questions to answer! ๐Ÿ˜›ย

And now, on to that cool little trick I promised…ย

Step 1. Take a calculator. Don’t use the calculator on your mac computer, because you’re going to need to turn it upside down. (I’ll explain later!) ๐Ÿ˜›ย

Step 2. Punch in the number 0.1134. (That decimal is important, or else the 0 won’t show up.)

Step 3. Turn calculator upside down… And behold! Yes, it really helloย on it! Cool?

Welp, I’d better go now!!! If you read this whole post… Then great job, you’re awesome!!!!! *High five!* ๐Ÿ˜€

The End,

Rosy ๐Ÿ˜‰ย

Let’s Talk!

Can you relate to any of the memes in this post?

Will you try the calculator trick?

And please… Somebody tell me what a triangle is, as stated in question #6!!!

  1. Actually, I was just going to say that I absolutely relate to most (if not all) of the memes…especially the one about mispronouncing words. That has happened SO MANY TIMES in my life, and my mom is continually telling me the correct pronunciation of words I have read.

And, I’m sorry, but I have no idea what a triangle is, other than the geometric figure ๐Ÿ˜€

  2. Hey Rosy! I’m late to the party again, as usual . . . that’s what happens when you’re 19, I suppose. ๐Ÿ˜

But better late than never, so here I am!

I grew up reading TONS of books too, so I totally relate to the memes and most of your answers to the questions. It kinda goes with homeschooling and bookworming (wait, did I just make up a word??)

A love triangle is where three or more people are involved in a romantic relationship, naturally a very tense situation, which creates a lot of drama for authors to use to spice up their books. And movie writers too.

Have you seen The Hobbit? Tauriel is involved in a love triangle with Legolas and Kill. (Of course that wasn’t in the book, but that’s an entirely different discussion.)

I’d be interested in hearing your opinion of love triangles now that you know what they are. ๐Ÿ˜€ I actually don’t know yet what your view of romance in books is at all. I have friends who don’t tolerate it at all and think it’s almost sinful, and I know others who are fine with a little innocent romance woven into good storylines.

Have you read The Lord of the Rings by any chance? I’d like to hear your opinion on those. (By the way, there’s a love triangle for you: Aragorn, Arwen, and Eowyn. Although it’s more of a love triangle in the movies than in the books.)

Anyway, hope it’s not too late and that you do see this comment!

    Blessings,

    • Haha, yeah I suppose 19 year olds are probably pretty busy… ๐Ÿ˜› And FYI, it’s never too late to comment on my blog!!! Every one of your comments make my day! ๐Ÿ˜‰ ๐Ÿ˜€ โค

Ok. I seriously think that "bookworming" is one of the best made-up-on-the-spot words I've heard recently. Love it! That's one of my hobbies- bookworming! lol.

Aaah, I see!!!!! I knew about that, that didn't know about the name… ๐Ÿ˜› Makes sense.

No, I haven't seen The Hobbit, or read Lord of the Rings, so I'm sorry to say I'm not able to give you my thoughts on those… As for my opinion on love triangles? Hmmm… I havent really decided on my thoughts for romance in books… But I think that a little romance is perfectly fine, as long as it has God written all over it!!! ๐Ÿ˜€

Blessing to you as well, and thanks for your lovely comment!

  3. Hi! I found out last night why Christmas Carol Kauffmann was named that! She was born on Christmas in 1901, and was going to be named Gertude but a few days after she was born their bird that hadn’t sung in a long time burst forth singing, so the dad wanted to name her Christmas Carol. Oh, and the calculator trick is neat!
