Life Update!!

It’s time for another update on our lives! 😀 I would normally wait until the end of April, but since I’m not gonna be here then… Well, I’ll explain in a later post! 😉

Anyway, here are some of the recent event at our house. 🙂

A visit from our Grandparents

Last week my Dad’s parent’s, from Colorado, came over to our house for a few days. It was a very good time, and it was great to see them again. 🙂

We walked down to a lake about a mile from our house, where we ran around a skipped (Or tried to skip in my case!) rocks across it.

We also had friends over last week from Canada, the Friesons. We had a really amazing few hours with them! It was awesome to speak with kids my own age in English for a change…! XD 😀 ;P (There is a girl named Rosy, and whenever someone calls her or my name, we both turn around. It’s awesome!!! 😀 ❤ )

We had a great time time of fellowship with them, singing hymns and reading the Word together. All the kids went outside and played Nazis and Jews. It was awesome! 😀

Other than that, the only thing that has happened since last Sunday especially, is that we have all gotten sick… like, sick. 🤒🤧 Like, miserable in bed sick… Like, I-felt-like-my-head-was-about-to-explode sick… 😭 Anyway, we are recovering now, thankfully! At least I can sing now. Well, kinda. I won’t mention that I probably sound like a chocking goose…  Singing was one of the things I missed most, being sink. I couldn’t even talk clearly… XD I can now though, so. 🙂

    Sorry you’re sick. 😦 We’re doing that over here too, but starting to get better…
    We’ve been having lots of fun playing with our gravelly voices impersonating characters and stuff, but I’m looking forward to being able to sing again, that’s for sure! xD

        Woah, creepy ’cause I did the same thing. I thought I was getting better finally but then got worse all of a sudden last night! Get better soon!! That’s an order! 😃

  3. Looks like a great time (besides the sick part😔) I got sick since Sunday too… it’s still quite painful to swallow (and sing😔) but I am starting to feel better! (And yes, I probably sound like a chocking goose too😆😞)😃😀 I hope you all feel better soon! Oh, and YES you have to learn that song!!!
    P.s. How did the picture of your skirt turn out? Lol! Jk!😂✌️

  6. Wow, sounds like y’all have had so much fun!! We’ve visited missionary friends before and I know exactly what you’re talking about, both having English speaking kids and playing WWII. 😉 (Somehow you just can’t play that as freely if you’re not all Americans!) Also…I’ve got to see this picture of your skirt. I’ve looked at that so many times and can’t wrap my mind around what you’re actually taking a picture of. XD

  7. All that seems like fun!! Man, I’m jealous of all the fun! xD Anyway, friends from CANADA??? THAT HAD TO TAKE THEM FOREVER TO GET THERE!!! xD Unless they flew, which is still long.

    Wow!! That song sounds super interesting!! You should totally learn it!! Depending on how an accordion is, it’s in Dm which is the same keys as F. xD (I was watching the fingers on the piano like keys. xD)

  8. Cool post! But I literally freaked out when I came across the pictures of the Friesens because I digitally know them too! They’re friends of friends I have up in Canada, and I’m also in a group chat with several of them. So anyways, that was cool to see their faces on your blog!

      • Haha yup! Well, I’ve known Canadians from their homeschool group since September of 2017 and have been in their Canadian prayer chat since spring/summer of last year, so I’ve technically known of them since then. I’ve not yet met them in person but I’ve talked to Rosy on Hangouts a bit. But yeah that is crazy!
