We had a BLAST! 😀 We also made a video together, which you will get to see… later. 😉

Andy and Cousin Eddie invented a new way to have water balloon fights… Just smash the baboons on each other’s heads! LOL! XD I guess they weren’t getting wet enough the real way… ;P

Mom and her new-found cousin and Uncle. Probably more on that in a later post. No promises, but… probably! 😉

Lizzie and a friend’s dog.

We spent a looong time in the car… Like, 6 days worth of driving… Ugh! To pass the time, we listened to a lot of Jonathan Park, Brinkman Adventures, and sermons by Israel Wayne. 🙂 So it wasn’t so bad. 😉 We did have a few really carsick kids though… XD

Y’all. I LOVED the South. It was sooo pretty, and I loved the people, the accent (lol!), the trees… And guys, the GREENNESS!!! 🌳🌲🍃 It was so beautiful! I loved it all! Except for the ticks. Death to all ticks. Seriously, if it hadn’t been for the ticks, I probably would have moved there. Ok, maybe not quite… ;P XD

Well, I hope you enjoyed these pictures! Keep on the look out for a video about the trip, where you can see all you just saw, and lot’s more! 🙂 And also the video about our visit with Amie. (Amie’s making that one.) I can’t wait to see it!! :D😁

See you soon! (Figuratively speaking.) 😉

  1. Sounds like you all had a great trip! Did you listen to the new Jonathan Parks or the older ones? Did you end up getting any ticks? Where we live it’s like that saying but changed a little *ticks rule, humans get their blood drained from them* (hehe that isn’t a saying but I shall make it one)! Can’t wait to watch your vlog!

    • We did!!! 😀 Um, I’m not sure which ones are considered new… We have seasons one through 10… I suspect season 19 may be new? Because they kind of changed the whole style of the drama. So, ya’ll listen to Jonathan Park? 😀
      Haha, that’s funny!!! XD

  2. looks like tons of fun!! 😁 I love the south, but really don’t want to have to deal with ticks, even though we’ve found 2 ticks in our house this year. 😬😬😨 We’ve never had a problem before this year. Ooh, that’s awesome that you saw the ocean for the first time!! I love the ocean! Isn’t it beautiful? 😃 Even though I’d never trade the Great Lakes for the ocean… 😉 Looking forward to the video!!!

  4. Hey, glad to hear you’re back in Mexico! 🙂 And sorry to hear about the carsick kids 😦

And yup, the culture, accent, and, of course, the food of the South are some of the best…but I could be biased XD. Being raised there, the greenness is almost too much for me (maybe not the greenness but at least the socked-in-by-trees feeling). So South Dakota has become my new favorite place in the continental US (minus the culture, accent, and lack of grits XD)

    • Yes, we’re so happy to be back! 😀
Yes, I agree!!! Haha! That’s how my dad felt felt too. (Being so surrounded by trees… That must be a common feeling or something… xD)
Oh cool! I’ve heard S. Dakota is a really pretty place! 😀

      • It’s crazy when you get used to open spaces and go back to “normal”…it feels so shut in 😅 It really is! And I can see more than ten feet and I’m not miserable with allergies in the spring! (Lots of people actually say they’re allergic to Atlanta 😆)
