Spell the Month in Books: December

Spell the Month in Books: December

Hey everyone!

I got this fun idea from Kate over at Once Upon an Ordinary. (Go check out her awesome blog!) What you do, is spell out the name of the current month with books that you have read, and recommend – at least that’s how I’m doing it. πŸ™‚ I may or may not decide to make this a monthly thing – we’ll see! You can see the official post about it HERE. It explains it better than me, hehe. πŸ™‚

For this post, I’ll try to add as many Christmas or winter-y book recommendations that I can think of, though I haven’t read many so I’m sure they won’t all be. Whatever the case, this should be a lot of fun!!

D – 24 Day’s Before Christmas by Rebekah Jones

Mystery

I’ve read this book probably… 6 or 7 times? Yep, a lot! since it has a chapter for each of the days of December before Christmas, I enjoy reading them through out the month.

E- Evangelists in Chains

Historical Fiction

I haven’t read this recently, but I couldn’t find many good “E” books. But it’s a good one! I should read it again soon.

C- A Christmas Carol Society by Rebekah Jones

Fiction

E- None found. XD I’m sure I could find a good one if I searched harder, but I didn’t so.

M- The Minstrel by Malachi Cyr

Historical Fiction

This is definitely one of my favorite books!! I really enjoyed reading it, and can’t wait to read it out loud to some of my siblings soon. πŸ˜€

B- Beauty Shop Tales by Beth Pattillo

Mystery, Fiction

This is a fun mystery. πŸ™‚ It has nothing to do with Christmas, but I’m currently reading it.

E- Again.. Sorry…

R- Rescue in the Rockies by C.R. Hedgecock

Christian Fiction

I’m in the middle of reading this one to my siblings! We love this series, and this one has been really good so far! πŸ˜„

Have you read any of these books? Do you have any good book recommendations for “E”?

    • Hey Parker! Ooh yes, it’s a really fun series. I read a bunch of them when I was younger, but we sold them when we moved to Mexico. I just bought a few of them, so I’m excited to read them again!! πŸ˜€
