July 2021 Bullet Journal Set Up

Standard

Hello people! Can you believe it’s already (practically!) July?! So crazy! But, I’m going to hold off rambling about it too much, because I have enough of that in the next post. (Stay tuned!) Lol!! πŸ˜‚ 😁 But yay for summer!!

My theme for this month, is…

πŸ‰ Watermelon!! πŸ‰

This was super fun to do, and I was even eating watermelon while I was making it! πŸ˜€ πŸ‰ Fun times!

First, we have the cover page, calendar, goals (which I haven’t written yet… XD) and my word of the month, which is diligence. πŸ˜€ 😁

Love how the cover page turned out!

For my mood tracker, I did a bunch of little watermelons, and for the habit tracker I just did a SUPER simple one. I’ll probably go over it, and spice it up later… It’s kind of boring right now! XD

A Line a Day (where I write a bit about my day, each day) and a sleep tracker. This is my first time doing a sleep tracker, so we’ll see how that goes!! And again, these pages are slightly boring, but oh well… At least it’s functional! Lol. πŸ˜„

And as always, my absolute favorite spread…..!!!! The books I’m reading, my blog and youtube post tracker, and my Bible reading tracker!! Love it. Lol! πŸ˜‚ 😁

And lastly, my weekly spreads. It’s super pretty, but it doesn’t need to be, so. Haha! 😁

Please ignore that weird little watermelon thing in the corner. Ahhh, that did not work!! 🀣

And that’s that! Thank you all so much for reading this post. ❀ I enjoyed doing this set up, and I’m super excited to use it. I love new months!!! πŸ˜€

Love,

Rosy 🌻 πŸ‰ ❀️

How was your month? Do you have any plans for July? What’s your favorite part of summer?

P.S. Here’s a fun little thing for you guys! How many points did you get?!! I think I have 12. πŸ˜„ 😁

June 2021 Bullet Journal Set Up

Standard

Hey everyone!! IT’S JUNE!!! That’s just sooo crazy. 2021 is going by SO fast!!! Every time we reach a new month, it just blows me away…! LOL!

Anyway, my bullet journal theme for June was….

Succulents/Plants!

I’ve already actually done this theme in my old bullet journal, but that was before I’d really got into bullet journaling, and I was still figuring things out, so I really wanted to it again! Besides, it so pretty, that I may even want to do it yet again in the future. PLUS, I had some super cute succulent stickers that I wanted to use!! I really enjoyed setting up this month.

I think the cover page turned out lovely! (And no, I don’t have 0 goals for June… I just hadn’t written yet.) And my word for the month is humility, something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately. I pray that God will teach me humility this month especially (and always!) cause man, I need it! 🀣

I really love how the habit tracker, but I really don’t like the mood tracker… Oh well, I’ll survive, LOL! πŸ˜‚

Possibly my favorite spread this month, as it has lots to do with reading!! And plus, I love how it turned out aesthetically. 😍

The first page is good, but the second page…..??? Um, let’s just say it’s in need of some help. It’s really messed up, and I haven’t thought of a good way to fix it yet. (the playlist page, which is just going to be a list of my favorite songs in June) Y’all have any thoughts or ideas for that?

Lastly, here is my weekly/daily spread. Super simple and functional as usual. πŸ˜€ Some people like to do super amazing, pretty weekly logs, which are so beautiful and awesome, but not nearly as functional and take so long to do. I used to do that, but now I realized it much easier and practical to do something a bit more simple, just because that’s what works best for me. Of course, you can do it however you feel works best for you!! πŸ˜€

And there you have it!! I love how (most) everything turned out, and I’m enjoying using it. I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and I’ll see you again soon for mo June Recap, hopefully soon!

HAPPY JUNE, and have a great month!!!!!!

How was your May? Do you have any plans for June? (I love comments!!!) πŸ˜› 😁

May Bullet Journal Set Up (+April Recap Part 2)

May Bullet Journal Set Up (+April Recap Part 2)

Hey everybody! I’m finally here with my May Bujo set up. πŸ˜€

This time I again tried to cut down on pages, even more than last time, to save pages and make my journal last longer. πŸ˜‰ I did the whole thing in only a few pages! Thus, the whole set up didn’t take me as long as usual to complete, and I like it that way. (Because I don’t have time to spend 5 years working on spreads for one month. Haha!) 🀣

May’s theme is…..

Butterflys!!!

I’ve been wanted to use this as a theme, well, ever since I bought some really pretty butterfly sticker on amazon. πŸ˜‚

And yeah, let’s just get into it!! πŸ˜€

The May cover page is similar to my April cover page. I just liked it so much, I had to do it again! I really love how it turned out – it looks so cheerful and spring-y!! πŸ’™ πŸ¦‹

Next up, are my goals for May, my word of the month (Servant), habit tracker, and mood tracker. I told you guys I was using less pages! Normally, each of those would take a whole page, haha!

Now we have maybe my favorite page (it’s tied with all the other pages), my book tracker, and a Line a Day. (Where I simply write a line about my day, each day.) πŸ˜€

A few more trackers (Social tracker, Bible Reading, and Goals and Rewards. And yes, I know that I haven’t finished the Goals and Rewards section. Still trying to think of rewards! Any ideas???)

After that, the only spread left to share is my daily spread. Super simple and functional. πŸ˜€

And that’s it for my bullet journal this month, folks! I hope you guys enjoyed!

And there’s just one more thing I wanted to add in. This has absolutely nothing to do with the topic of this post, but a few days ago when I posted my April Recap, I missed something very important! Some thing that was a lot of fun, and I don’t know how I ever could have ever missed it! Lol. XD

So I’m just going to call this section, April Recap, Part 2. πŸ˜‚

Around mid-April, our family went with another family up to the mountains to visit another family. (Ok sorry, that was a slightly confusing sentence! Just read it again, until you get it.) πŸ˜‰ LOL!

We went with the Garcia family, and we visited a man named Juan and his family, who lives a few hours away, far from civilization. (Well, not really far, but it feels far since it takes so long to get there because of the roads, lol!)

We got there for around lunch time, and we brought hot dogs for lunch. We used our special invention to cook them over the fire. (our special invention being chicken wire, which we lay about 20 hot dogs on top of, over the fire, to cook a bunch of them at once and save time!) XD If that didn’t make sense, see the photo below. I’m sorry, I’m bad at explaining things. LOL! πŸ˜‚

After lunch, we all decided do go on a hike. We drove a little ways to a good starting place, and then off we went!

The Mountains are so pretty!!

Selfie with my water bottle. Why? I don’t know. All I know, is that it was gone in like the next three strides, and I had no more water the rest of the way. LOL!

On the way, we came across this wall/cliff made of white sand. Everyone else probably thought, “oh, a wall of White sand! Cool, and bye.” but Lizzie and I thought, “Oh, a wall of white sand! LET’S CLIMB IT!” So we did.

(And I definitely did not rip my skirt twice in the process…. Don’t worry, it’s fixed now) πŸ˜‰ 🀣

We got stuck half way to the top, and couldn’t go any farther because there were no branches to hang on to. So we did the next logical thing, and slid all the way to the bottom (Filling our shoes with dirt) and into the tiny stream below (thereby filling them with water. THEREBY! We were muddy.) LOL! πŸ˜‚ 🀣

After walking 37 miles (or 1 1/2 I guess maybe), we reached our destination – a small (but large for the area) pool of water. πŸ˜€

After spending a little while there, talking and wading in the water *trying* to catch the fish, we headed back.

(And I most certainly was not so thirsty on the way back that I drank some of the stream water.) Hey, it was (mostly) clear!!! LOL! 🀣🀣🀣

When we got back to Juan’s house, we had a little bit of Bible reading and singing time which was great. πŸ˜€

Philip and Me

And there y’all have it, folks! πŸ˜€ It was a great time, and believe me, we got home tired, lol! XD I hope you guys enjoyed the photos, and I’ll see you in my next post! I hope everyone is having a great day. πŸ’•

I’m off to make some cheese! πŸ˜‚ πŸ§€

April 2021 Bullet Journal Set Up

Standard

Hey everyone!!

IT’S APRIL!!!! Wow, last month just MARCHED right on by didn’t it? *smiles mischievously* LOL. πŸ˜‚

But for real, it’s hard to believe it’s already the 4th month of 2021. (And yes, I’m shocked and stunned each and every time a new month comes. But I love it.) πŸ˜‚ 🀣

Anyhow, my theme for this month’s bullet journal spread, is….

Galaxy!!!

I’ve been wanting to use this theme, probably ever since I started my journal. It was so much fun to do, and this is probably my favorite of all the themes I’ve used so far!!! (It’s right up there with the rainbow one from January.) πŸ˜€

I don’t usually use acrylic paint in my bullet journal, but I did this time to get the galaxy effect. It worked pretty well!! Also, I wanted to use less pages than I sometimes do, so that I can use my journal longer, so I only did a mini calendar. I’m not completely sure how well I did at using less pages, but oh well. LOL!

Some of my goals for the month, and my word of the month. On the goals page, I just realized I didn’t quite finish one of the sentences. It’s supposed to say No Spend (Unless necessary) Haha! πŸ˜‚

Mood Tracker, and Habit Tracker. Incase you’re wondering what all those symbals on the habit tracker mean, they are, in order-

-Read Bible

-Get up before 7

-Workout

-Drink plenty or water

-Practice musical instruments

-Finish School

-Wash face and brush teeth.

I had fun coming up with each symbol!

A gratitude log, and some of the books I’m reading/planning on reading this month.

A whole bunch of random trackers! A blog and Youtube post tracker, birthday, movies, paintings, Bible reading, Goals and Rewards, etc… πŸ˜€ And I just realized I put a tracker for things I bought, when I just decided to try and not buy anything a few pages ago… Oops, lol! 🀣

My daily logs. πŸ™‚

And there you have it! I really, really enjoyed making each page, and I’m excited to use them! I hope these pages inspired you! πŸ˜€

Also, stay tuned for a March Recap hopefully before long!

~Rosy πŸ’– 🌻

How was your March? Do you have any plans for April?

March 2021 Bullet Journal Set Up

Standard

Hey everyone!

I’m sorry I’m a little late with this post. πŸ™‚ But I finally finished my March bullet journal spreads! Speaking of…. Can you guys even believe it’s March?!?!?!?!? I can’t. Wow. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

This month’s theme is…..

Music!!!

I’ve been wanting to use this theme for quite a while, and I’m finally doing it. XD I also decided to make my spreads fairly minimalistic, unlike what I usually do. And if I used color, it was a light purple or blue. πŸ™‚

The cover page! And a few random goals for this month. πŸ™‚

The calendar page. I really like this.

The word of the month page, and a gratitude log! My word of the month for March is Joy. πŸ™‚

Guys, I just want to say. That habit tracker took me SO. LONG. So long. Never again people, never again. Nevertheless, I love how it turned out!! And the mood tracker is also different from what I normally do. The different notes signify different moods, and I also tied a stress tracker in there! The higher the note, the more stressful the day was, and vice versa. I wonder if this would be playable at the end of the month…. That would be SO fun to “play my month”, lol!!

A tracker for my blog and youtube channel, and a page for the cooks I’m reading. I didn’t read a whole lot in February, but I’m hoping to read a lot more this month!!

Some random little trackers, that I didn’t feel like needed their own page.

And lastly, my weekly spreads. If you notice, I didn’t go through and write the date on the days. The reason for that is, sometimes I skip a day, and that littler box gets wasted, and after a while, all the little wasted spots add of to a lot. This way, I can just write in the day whenever I use it! (Thanks to my friend Emma for this little piece of ingenuity.) 😁 πŸ‘Œ

Wow, for being “minimalistic” these pages sure took a while, haha! I am quite pleased with the end result though. πŸ™‚ It’s different than what I normally do, and I like different. (In this case at least, haha!)

I hope these pages were inspiring to you, and that you enjoyed looking through them!

Y’all comment below, and tell me how your February was, and if you have any plans for March! My family is planning to visit my grandparent’s in Coahuila, Mexico, and after that, our grandparents from Colorado are coming to visit us. πŸ˜€ We’re very excited! πŸ˜‹

How you guys have a great day, AND month!!

Love,

Rosy πŸ’– 🌻

February Bullet Journal Setup

Standard
February Bullet Journal Setup

Hey everyone! πŸ˜€

IT’S FEBRUARY!!! Well, actually it’s not. Yet. TWO MORE DAYS! πŸ˜€ It’s hard to believe the first month of 2021 is over. Well, technically not, but practically!πŸ˜‚

Ok I’ll stop now, LOL.

This months Bujo theme is……

Red/Pink/Hearts!

SO unoriginal, I know. I’m sure you guys are shocked that I would even think of such a thing for February.

Ok, all sarcasm aside….. I know that this is a super unoriginal theme for February, and I was planning on doing something else at first. However, I just decided that I felt like doing hearts and everything, so I’m doin’ it. (Even though probably 53,490 people have probably already done it before!) πŸ˜‚ 😜

Ok, so here is the cover page, and a Bible verse that I thought fit well with the theme.

After that, I have my February calendar. I messed up on the edge of the second page, so I just decided to cut it off, and try a dutch door for the first time. πŸ™‚ I think it turned out pretty good.

On the other side of the dutch door, I have random trackers, and then a mood tracker.

My habit tracker… πŸ˜€ I used a similar design as I did last month, because it worked really well for me.

And I gratitude log, where I shall *attempt* to write down something I’m thankful for each day.

I made a Blog and Youtube tracker to track my posts, as well as a page to track the books I’m reading.

And lastly, here is the first of my weekly spread. Yes, I am very aware that I spelled “February” wrong on this page. And yes, it bothers me tremendously. Lol! XD

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Feel free to copy anything I do in you own journal. πŸ˜€

I’m really excited for February, and I hope y’all have a great month!!

Art Lover Award//I Created my own Tag!

Hey guys!

There are so many tags for writers, and so many tags for blogger. Literally, SO. MANY. πŸ˜‚ But what I have yet to see, much to my disdain, is a tag/award for artists.

So, without farther ado, I present to you……!!!!!! *drumroll please* *Bangs on my desk* The ART LOVER AWARD!!!

So basically, this tag is for anyone who loves art. Or even people who just LIKE art. (And if you don’t even like it, I’m sorry. I truly am.)

This is my first time creating a tag, though I’ve wanted to for forever. I got re-inspired when my friend Emma suggested it to me in my Blog Survey. And I have finally gotten around to it, so YAY! πŸ˜€ SO EXCITING. Can’t wait to get started!

4. What was the last piece of art you did?

This painting of a lavender field. I’m still trying to decide how much I like it… XD

January Bullet Journal Set Up

Standard

Hey guys! πŸ˜€

Can you believe we’re actually starting 2021? It’s crazy! We can only hope this year proves better better than the last… 😜 But let’s be optimistic! Let’s make 2021 the best year ever! πŸ˜€ Honestly, I’m very excited for this up-coming year. πŸ˜„

I did my planning together with a friend, and bujo buddy of mine, Emma, via video call! It was so much fun, and I enjoyed planning my bujo spreads so much more with her. πŸ˜€ (Bujo stand for bullet journal by the way, in case you didn’t know. You might be hearing me say it a lot from now on, LOL) 😜 😁

For my theme for January, I chose, after mush consideration, deliberation, AND contemplation… (drumroll please)….. Rainbow! Well, just all colors in general. I love all colors, and I and this will make for a bright, happy start to 2021. πŸ˜€

I started out with a quote page, and a monthly intro page. I love all the colors!!! 😍 I’m sort of second guesing all those splats of color I made, but I still like it. πŸ˜‰

This is my absolute favorite calendar page I’ve ever made! I love it! And it was way too much fun to put together….

On this page, I’ll write a little something about my day… each day. πŸ˜‰ This page turned out really cute – and yummy! xD πŸ˜‹

A handy dandy habit tracker, to keep track of some of the thing and I want to do each day.

It took me FOREVER to draw out all these crayons….πŸ˜‚And don’t worry, and the page will be a lot more colorful at the end when I fill them in. 😁

This will help me to keep track of when I post on my blog and youtube tracker. πŸ˜€

Some more random trackers, tracking random things. Randomly.

I’m very excited about this page! Basically I will print out some pictures of my favorite memories from January, and stick them in this mini envelope. This will be so much fun to look back on over the years. πŸ˜€

And lastly, here are my weekly spreads.

I love how January’s spreads turned out. They’re so bright and colorful and cheery, I can’t wait to use them! Another reason to look forward to 2021!!! XD

By the way, I’m thinking about doing a word of the month this up-coming year. Basically what I’ll do is pick a word each month that I want to focus on. For example it could be humility, patience, kindness, etc… Do you guys have any ideas for me? πŸ˜€

I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and happy New Year!

Love,

Rosy πŸ’–

Setting up My 2021 Bullet Journal

Standard

Hey everyone!

I started bullet journaling in June of this year. It’s something I’d seen around for years, and had always wanted to look into it more, and try it out, and when I finally did… I realized how much I loved it! It’s been so much fun, and now that I’ve bene doing it for awhile, I want to start posting pictures of my monthly spreads each month in 2021. (Although no promises that I won’t miss a month!) XD

Anyway, here is my 2021 set-up. πŸ˜€ It’s my first time doing yearly spreads, and I really enjoyed making them. πŸ˜€

Here is my new 2021 bullet journal. Well, it will probably only last me half of the year. πŸ˜‰ It’s really pretty though, and I love it!

I love how the intro page turned out.

Here I have a New Years quote, and a goal page. (Those aren’t all my goals by the way. I just haven’t written them out, lol!) πŸ˜‚

On this page, I will probably glue pictures of my favorite 2021 highlights here. I can’t wait to look back on this page at the end of the year.

This is another page I’m looking forward to seeing at the end of the year! It’ll be really neat to have a visual of what my year was like. And the second page is a savings goal tracker, I just haven’t written the title yet… XD

This birthday tracker will be really helpful!

And that’s all the pages I have done so far. I’m not sure if I’m going to do more later or not, but I’m leaving it at that for now. πŸ˜‰ Now to start on my January spreads! I’m not sure what theme I should do though. Do you have any ideas? πŸ˜€

Rosy ❀

Do you bullet journal? Are you excited for 2021? Do you have any theme ideas for January?
