July 2021, Recap

Hey everyone!! Can you believe it’s already August? I know I say this every month, but… IT’S CRAZY! This year is going by sooo fast!!

But we’re here to talk about July, not August, so. What happened this month anyway? I forget half of it.. XD But hopefully I shall remember as I go. 🙂

Well, it’s been raining nicely this year! The last couple of years, we have been in a pretty bad drought, and hardly got any rain. But this year, it’s actually been raining, so praise God for that! It’s getting really green, and I love it so much.

A pretty sunset!

I’ve been doing classes with my youngest siblings, which has been fun! 😀

Reading Glaucia the Greek Slave, given to me by my friend, Susie!! It was really good! 😀

Our family goes on walks together frequently in the summer. It’ really fun, and the weather as been beautiful!!!

8 out of 11 of us XD Some of the kids ran up ahead, and I was behind taking the picture. 😀

Later this month (just a few days ago) Ruthie, Susie and I went with Dad to the border! We go every every so often to get our mail, go shopping, and whatever other errands we need to do. 😀 I always love going.

We left at 3:30 in the morning, and got there around 9:30. The sunrise that morning was really pretty!

It rained a lot on the trip, was was so much fun! The weather was beautiful……!!!

It looks like Dad is sleeping while he’s driving, but DON’T WORRY! He’s just blinking. 😉 LOL!!

We went to Coldstone Creamery while we were in El Paso! It was my first time going, and it was AMAZING….. I got coffee ice cream with chocolate and caramel and nuts….. Ahhhh!! We got to watch the lady making it, witch looked super fun, and I decided what my future job will be. LOL!

Sadly, I didn’t get a picture of the ice cream. Sorry, I was just too busy eating it. XD

James and I took picture of each other with these purple flowers. He was quite proud of the pictures he took himself! 😀 ❤

Bible Verse Quiz!

In my recent poll, some of y’all said that you would like more quizzes/polls. And, since I haven’t done a quiz in quite a while, I decided to make one for you! 😀

I had a bit of a hard time thinking up a good topic, but I finally came up with one that I really like.

A Bible Verse quiz, testing how well you know some of the most common verses. 🙂

Here it is! Hope you enjoy! 😀

What score did you get on the quiz? Do you have any other quiz/survey ideas for me?

A Rambling Post

Standard

Hello people! I have nothing else to do at the moment, and it’s been 5 days since I’ve posted, so… I’m sitting here. Typing this. For you. To read. ;P 😅

Please forgive any strangeness in this post, because I am tired. Like, tired. That might have something to do with 1) I went to bed pretty late last night. 2) I am potty training my brother James, starting today. (I’m practicing to be a mother someday y’all!) Lol.

So yeah, today has been a whirlwind. And he actually made it to the toilet like, one whole time! (I won’t mention the other dozen or so times…) Lol. But, he’s making progress! Slowly, but surely. 😉  ❤

In other news…. Oh, I should totally tell you about last Sunday! It was a great time!

So, we had our first Domingo Largo (Long Sunday) on the 28th. We started at about 11:00 in the morning. Dad preached a sermon, then everyone ate lunch together. After that, we played lots of volleyball, which was fun! Then Heber, (a man in our church) preached another message. After that, we played more volleyball, then some soccer. We had a great time visiting too. ❤ It was a wonderful day! 🙂

Ok, I’ll upload some pictures for ya. Just a second… 😉

Ok, here. 🙂

Sitting around, and reading the Bible ❤

It was an awesome day! (Except for the fact that I’m sunburned and look like a tomato… XD 🍅🍅🍅) Lol.

Ok, I have to go soon. 🙂 First, here’s a song that I’ve been enjoying lately. (I’m actually listening to it right now, but by the time you see this, I probably won’t be…) 😂

Also, I read this verse in my Bible a couple days ago, and it has been on my mind ever since. How encouraging!

Ok, gotta go! Thanks for reading my late night ramblings people! (And excuse any typos…)

Have a great night everyone! 🙂🙃

Life is a Gift

Standard

Screen Shot 2019-06-28 at 4.41.41 PM

There is a special gift that God has given us. A gift that, once lost, can never be regained.

It’s called life.

We don’t deserve it. We didn’t even do anything to earn it. But He gave it to us.

The question is, what are we going to do with it?

How are we going to live our lives?

We could just live for ourselves. Just chill and relax. Do whatever you want. Don’t worry about what might happen to us when life on earth is over. The easy way. But would you really be happy?

No.

Or we could choose to live life for Christ! Serve Him and give Him Glory for all that He has done! Give our lives to Him, and let Him lead. Trust and Obey. I guarantee that that’s the only thing that will give you true happiness.

But not only did God give us life. He gave us Hope.

He gave us the very greatest gift of all time!

His own son, Jesus!

God sent his son down to this earth, to pay for our sins. To give us hope for a life with Him.

Have you given your heart to Jesus? Trusted Him to save you from your sins?

Some may say, “Well, I’ll do it later,” or, “There’s still plenty of time to make that decision. No hurry!”

But no!

You never know when it will be too late! Our life is but a vapor – only God knows how long it will last.

As for man, his days are like grass;
he flourishes like a flower of the field;
for the wind passes over it, and it is gone,
and its place knows it no more.

Psalm 103:15-16

Don’t wait until it’s too late. Live your life for Christ!
