I don’t know if anyone noticed, but I took a needed break from bullet journaling in April. I tried to put something together, but it just wasn’t working out and was getting stressful, so I just decided to skip a month. 🙂 But now I’m back, with my set up for May! The theme is…
🌸 Spring flowers!! 🌸
I didn’t feel up to doing anything super artistic on the cover page, so I decided to make a collage with some Spring-y photos and quotes I got printed recently. I think it turned out really pretty!
I did an activity tracker (which I probably should have called a workout tracker) and a sleep tracker, both of which I hadn’t done in a while. I decided that since I did nothing in April, I wanted to do extra in May, so. 😂 😁
There are several different trackers here, including a gratitude tracker, social tracker, and a little section for goals and rewards.
My favorite spread, the book tracker of course. I’m really excited about the books I’m reading this month. As you can see, I’ve already read quite a bit…. 😂 (And by the time I’m writing this I’ve already finished a couple of them….) XD
I really like how this set up turned out. My favorite thing about it is probably all of the pretty colors! I’m really excited to be getting back into bullet journaling. 😀
If you guys have any themes that you’d like to see me do in the future, please let me know in the comments. I’d love to see your ideas!!
I know that I didn’t really do anything fancy in my bullet journal last time, ditching the theme, and just doing whatever. But I’m back this month with actual cohesive and consistent theme, and I happen to love how it turned out. 😄 😁
The theme for this month is something that is very near and dear to my heart, and was suggested to me by a friend, who is even nearer, and dearer to my heart. (Hi Kyra!) XD 😁 💕
I’ve been wanting to do this theme, probably since I started bullet journaling almost two years ago, but the thought of so many drawing books was a bit daunting, so I put it off for forever…. But, it didn’t end up being nearly as hard as I thought it would, and I’m really happy with how the whole thing turned out. 😀
Alrighty, so the cover page is super simple. I draw the outline of an open books, did up a a small calendar, and wrote in a bookish quote. The typewriter font was super fun and cute I think, so I kind of made my main font and used it as often as I could throughout the set up. I think it fits well with the book theme!
I love the mood tracker… And the book quote…! XD
Super simple habit tracker. This is like, my go-to set up for this, and I like how it works. I love the color theme a lot, although some of them are so dark that it’s a bit hard to read the words over them. XD That’s ok though.
Again, love the colors here!! I accidentally messed up the quote a bit, but oh well. 🤣
I think you guys have heard me say that book page is my absolute favorite page ever, so I’ll refrain. Or maybe I won’t. This is my absolute favorite page ever!!! 😂 Since the whole theme is books, I added an extra page dedicated to reading. 🙂
Also, I just love that little shelf of books I drew at the bottom of the second page. 😍 It’s pretty cute, if I may say so myself… 📚
After doing it for January, I decided that I liked the free style daily log. I decorated the corners, and then I can just write to-do lists however and wherever I want on there. I find it also conserves space, so that’s good too. It’s also way funner to design!
And there you have it! This set up was surprisingly easy to do, and I just love it! 😍

Which page was your favorite? What are you currently reading?

~Paint more often
My January 2022 Bullet Journal Set Up
Ok, so to be honest, I wasn’t feeling very inspired this month. I may be a little bit burned out from spending so much time bullet journaling every single month in 2021. Half of me wanted to take a break for January, but since it’s the first month of the year, it feels kind of sad to do that. Normally I’d want to be extra for January, but this time, I ended up just doing something super simple. I think it’ll be good to get a break though, and hopefully I’m start back up as normal in February or March! (And I’ll probably end up skipping a month this year too, so. )
Alright, the theme for January is…. *GASP* I didn’t do a theme! As I said before, i was feeling un-inspired, and didn’t have clue what theme I wanted to do. So, I decided that I was just going to do whatever I wanted, and also not worry so much about making everything perfect. So if they don’t seem as nice or well thought out as normal, that’s why. 😉 And yeah, let’s just get into it!
The first thing I did, was a sunset circle kind of thing in the middle of the page. However, due to my apparent and obvious lack of colored pencil blended abilities, I absolutely hated, and didn’t have a clue what to do with it. So I walked away for awhile, and came back to it a bit later when I was feeling less frustrated. I decided to do a zen tangle all around the edges of the page, and after that was done, I liked it much better!! Other than the terrible hand-lettering of the word “January”, I think it’s pretty good, haha!
In my habit tracker, I accidentally made two spots bigger than the rest, which caused great distress for a few minutes. I just went with it though, and you can hardly see it now 😉
The mood tracker is a… you know, I’m not sure what it is. A page full of geometric shapes. 😂 Maybe it’s a stained glass window.
I like the theme of this page!
As awhiles, my favorite page! Here’s a glimpses of some of the books I’m planning on reading this month. (I’ve already finished that last one, which I’m reading out loud to my siblings!)
For my daily log, I did something super simple and just did a pretty design at the top. I didn’t even section of portions for days – I figured I’d just write down the date wherever I was at on the page. I think it’s working pretty well!
I think this is so pretty!! 😀 ❤️
As you can see, I didn’t do as many pages as I usually do, and that’s ok. I think it’ll be good to have a tiny break, and get re-motivated. Whatever the case, I’m really excited to see what January, and 2022 holds!! 😀
Rosy ❄️ 💕
What are some of your New Year’s Resolutions? What are you looking forward to in 2022? What are you reading this month?
Making this December spread was a lot of fun, and really got me into the Christmas spirit. I’m really excited to use it this coming month!!
The theme for December, of course, is everything Christmas. Red and green, candy canes and other Christmas-y stuff abound! 😀 🎄
I quite like how the cover page turned out! 😀
I used a candy cane lettering for some of the headers, and drew some fun Christmas lights for the mood tracker. It will be fun to see the different colors at the end of the month!
The Bible and books I’m planning on reading this month, as well as a small social media tracker for my blog and youtube posts. 🙂
A sleep tracker and daily highlights page. The black dotted lines on the sleep tracker is my ideal sleeping schedule. It will be good to see the difference between that, and how much I really end up sleeping by the end of December.
This was a fun spread!! I made up a bucket list of several of the Christmas or winter-y things I want to do this month. I still have a couple empty spots – do you guys have any more ideas? And the next page is a few of my favorite Christmas songs. 🙂
And lastly, my daily log! I love the colors here!
I enjoyed making this, and I’m so excited to get into December and Christmas season! It’s definitely one of my favorite times of the year. 🙂
Rosy ❤️ 🎄
What are you most looking forward to in December? What’s on your Christmas bucket list?
Can you believe it’s already September?! 2021 is just speeding by like crazy! I’m so excited though for fall though. It’s one of my favorite seasons!
As I said in my August set up post, I used up my entire teal bullet journal. So I got a new one, and I really love it – even more than my old one! The color is beautiful, and it’s like twice as long.
I’m super excited about my new journal, and I love it so much!!! Can’t wait to use it more in the coming months. Now on to my September spread!
Originally I was going to do a pastel themed spread, but I just wasn’t feeling it, so I did a little poll on my blog with a few different ideas. A lot of you voted that I do a lavender theme, and I really liked that idea so I went for it! I really enjoyed making, and I love the way it turned out! 💜
~Cover page and calendar
~Quote page and gratitude log. That empty space going to have my word of the month when I decide on it lol…!
~Habit Tracker! Anyone have an idea for that last space? Haha. 😅
~Mood Tracker! Getting all the spaces in the circle even and the same size was hard, and it still looks a bit uneven, but that’s ok!
~Bible and reading trackers, and my social tracker. My favorite and most used page as usual!! I haven’t written in the books I’m reading yet (I still don’t know!), so I guess you’ll have to find that out in my September Recap post later on. 🙂
~Sleep tracker and activity tracker. The activity tracker is something new I’m trying. Basically it’s for workouts and exercises, and tracking how many minutes I spend each day doing them. I’m interested in seeing what the numbers are. And if it works well, maybe I’ll make it a regular! 😀
~My daily log. 😀 I’ve realized that for the longest time I’ve only done the same, super simple spread for my daily logs, and decided it was time I did something a bit fancier! I quite like how it turned out! As usual, I didn’t write in most of the dates, so that if I skip a day I won’t waste space. 😉
And there you have it!! My very first set up in my brand new journal. I hope y’all enjoyed, and that this post was inspiring to you!!
Hey everyone!! Can you believe it’s almost August?! To me, August seems to signify that we’re nearing the end of the year. How crazy is that?!
Also, this set up used up the LAST of my bullet journal!!!! “tis a bit sad, like saying good bye to an old friend (Hey! It stuck with me throughout this whole year!). BUT. I have another one coming in the mail soon! I’m excited to get it, and to show you guys in my September set up. 😀 (Spoiler: It’s a certain shade of green. That’s all I’m saying. You’ll get to meet him next month.) 😉
Anyways, the theme for this month, is….
I’ve been wanting to do a sunflower theme for months, and I’m (mostly) really happy with how it turned out! There are a few things yes, that definitely could have been done better, but for the most part, I love it. 🌻
Here is the cover page, Word of the Month, Goals (which I haven’t written yet, sorry!) and a gratitude log. As you can see, I have everything pretty compact and squished together, since I had only a few pages left in the book to fit everything. When I get my new journal, I hope to be a bit more loose with it, and be able to use some more pages! And I love how the little sunflower I drew turned out…. 😀 (If I do say so myself. Lol!)
My word of the month for August is Meekness – something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately! Which actually brings me to my first regret – the lettering I did for “Meekness” is atrocious. I thought and thought of ways to cover it up, but that was easier said than done. At last, I decided to be meek, leave it as it is, and post it anyway. It’s a good reminder to be humble… LOL! 😂
Mood tracker (which I love!) habit tracker, and a goals and rewards thing. 😀
I did a sleep tracker for the first time last month, and it went well, so I think I’ll start adding it to my regular set up from now on. 😀 The second page was empty and I couldn’t decide how to fill it, so I finally decided to do a very random “life tracker”. Kinda like a habit tracker, but different. I think it turned out pretty cute!
And this brings me to my second regret, which is how I accidentally wrote “Life”… Oh well, I’ll survive! XD
And lastly, my Books, Bible and Social Tracker! I left some space on my books and Bible sections, to hopefully write in more books that I want to read, but didn’t necessarily plan on. 🙂
And there you have it! There’s a weekly log page as well, but it’s pretty boring, so I won’t show it here. 😉 I really love this set up, and CAN’T WAIT to use it! Yay for August! And sunflowers!! 🌻 ❤️
As a bonus, here are some sunflower pictures I took last year, that I love! 😀
I hope you guys enjoyed this post!! If you bullet journal, what’s your theme for August? 😀
Hey everyone!! IT’S JUNE!!! That’s just sooo crazy. 2021 is going by SO fast!!! Every time we reach a new month, it just blows me away…! LOL!
Anyway, my bullet journal theme for June was….
I’ve already actually done this theme in my old bullet journal, but that was before I’d really got into bullet journaling, and I was still figuring things out, so I really wanted to it again! Besides, it so pretty, that I may even want to do it yet again in the future. PLUS, I had some super cute succulent stickers that I wanted to use!! I really enjoyed setting up this month.
I think the cover page turned out lovely! (And no, I don’t have 0 goals for June… I just hadn’t written yet.) And my word for the month is humility, something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately. I pray that God will teach me humility this month especially (and always!) cause man, I need it! 🤣
I really love how the habit tracker, but I really don’t like the mood tracker… Oh well, I’ll survive, LOL! 😂
Possibly my favorite spread this month, as it has lots to do with reading!! And plus, I love how it turned out aesthetically. 😍
The first page is good, but the second page…..??? Um, let’s just say it’s in need of some help. It’s really messed up, and I haven’t thought of a good way to fix it yet. (the playlist page, which is just going to be a list of my favorite songs in June) Y’all have any thoughts or ideas for that?
Lastly, here is my weekly/daily spread. Super simple and functional as usual. 😀 Some people like to do super amazing, pretty weekly logs, which are so beautiful and awesome, but not nearly as functional and take so long to do. I used to do that, but now I realized it much easier and practical to do something a bit more simple, just because that’s what works best for me. Of course, you can do it however you feel works best for you!! 😀
And there you have it!! I love how (most) everything turned out, and I’m enjoying using it. I hope you guys enjoyed this post, and I’ll see you again soon for mo June Recap, hopefully soon!
HAPPY JUNE, and have a great month!!!!!!
~Rosy 💖 🌻
How was your May? Do you have any plans for June? (I love comments!!!) 😛 😁
IT’S APRIL!!!! Wow, last month just MARCHED right on by didn’t it? *smiles mischievously* LOL. 😂
But for real, it’s hard to believe it’s already the 4th month of 2021. (And yes, I’m shocked and stunned each and every time a new month comes. But I love it.) 😂 🤣
Anyhow, my theme for this month’s bullet journal spread, is….
I’ve been wanting to use this theme, probably ever since I started my journal. It was so much fun to do, and this is probably my favorite of all the themes I’ve used so far!!! (It’s right up there with the rainbow one from January.) 😀
I don’t usually use acrylic paint in my bullet journal, but I did this time to get the galaxy effect. It worked pretty well!! Also, I wanted to use less pages than I sometimes do, so that I can use my journal longer, so I only did a mini calendar. I’m not completely sure how well I did at using less pages, but oh well. LOL!
Some of my goals for the month, and my word of the month. On the goals page, I just realized I didn’t quite finish one of the sentences. It’s supposed to say No Spend (Unless necessary) Haha! 😂
Mood Tracker, and Habit Tracker. Incase you’re wondering what all those symbals on the habit tracker mean, they are, in order-
-Get up before 7
-Drink plenty or water
-Practice musical instruments
-Wash face and brush teeth.
I had fun coming up with each symbol!
A gratitude log, and some of the books I’m reading/planning on reading this month.
A whole bunch of random trackers! A blog and Youtube post tracker, birthday, movies, paintings, Bible reading, Goals and Rewards, etc… 😀 And I just realized I put a tracker for things I bought, when I just decided to try and not buy anything a few pages ago… Oops, lol! 🤣
And there you have it! I really, really enjoyed making each page, and I’m excited to use them! I hope these pages inspired you! 😀
Also, stay tuned for a March Recap hopefully before long!
~Rosy 💖 🌻
How was your March? Do you have any plans for April?
I’m sorry I’m a little late with this post. 🙂 But I finally finished my March bullet journal spreads! Speaking of…. Can you guys even believe it’s March?!?!?!?!? I can’t. Wow. 😂😂😂
This month’s theme is…..
I’ve been wanting to use this theme for quite a while, and I’m finally doing it. XD I also decided to make my spreads fairly minimalistic, unlike what I usually do. And if I used color, it was a light purple or blue. 🙂
The cover page! And a few random goals for this month. 🙂
The calendar page. I really like this.
The word of the month page, and a gratitude log! My word of the month for March is Joy. 🙂
Guys, I just want to say. That habit tracker took me SO. LONG. So long. Never again people, never again. Nevertheless, I love how it turned out!! And the mood tracker is also different from what I normally do. The different notes signify different moods, and I also tied a stress tracker in there! The higher the note, the more stressful the day was, and vice versa. I wonder if this would be playable at the end of the month…. That would be SO fun to “play my month”, lol!!
A tracker for my blog and youtube channel, and a page for the cooks I’m reading. I didn’t read a whole lot in February, but I’m hoping to read a lot more this month!!
Some random little trackers, that I didn’t feel like needed their own page.
And lastly, my weekly spreads. If you notice, I didn’t go through and write the date on the days. The reason for that is, sometimes I skip a day, and that littler box gets wasted, and after a while, all the little wasted spots add of to a lot. This way, I can just write in the day whenever I use it! (Thanks to my friend Emma for this little piece of ingenuity.) 😁 👌
Wow, for being “minimalistic” these pages sure took a while, haha! I am quite pleased with the end result though. 🙂 It’s different than what I normally do, and I like different. (In this case at least, haha!)
I hope these pages were inspiring to you, and that you enjoyed looking through them!
Y’all comment below, and tell me how your February was, and if you have any plans for March! My family is planning to visit my grandparent’s in Coahuila, Mexico, and after that, our grandparents from Colorado are coming to visit us. 😀 We’re very excited! 😋
IT’S FEBRUARY!!! Well, actually it’s not. Yet. TWO MORE DAYS! 😀 It’s hard to believe the first month of 2021 is over. Well, technically not, but practically!😂
Ok I’ll stop now, LOL.
This months Bujo theme is……
SO unoriginal, I know. I’m sure you guys are shocked that I would even think of such a thing for February.
Ok, all sarcasm aside….. I know that this is a super unoriginal theme for February, and I was planning on doing something else at first. However, I just decided that I felt like doing hearts and everything, so I’m doin’ it. (Even though probably 53,490 people have probably already done it before!) 😂 😜
Ok, so here is the cover page, and a Bible verse that I thought fit well with the theme.
After that, I have my February calendar. I messed up on the edge of the second page, so I just decided to cut it off, and try a dutch door for the first time. 🙂 I think it turned out pretty good.
On the other side of the dutch door, I have random trackers, and then a mood tracker.
My habit tracker… 😀 I used a similar design as I did last month, because it worked really well for me.
And I gratitude log, where I shall *attempt* to write down something I’m thankful for each day.
I made a Blog and Youtube tracker to track my posts, as well as a page to track the books I’m reading.
And lastly, here is the first of my weekly spread. Yes, I am very aware that I spelled “February” wrong on this page. And yes, it bothers me tremendously. Lol! XD
I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Feel free to copy anything I do in you own journal. 😀
I’m really excited for February, and I hope y’all have a great month!!
