I Wrote a Song… :)

Standard

Hey guys! πŸ˜€

So… I did a thing. I wrote a song! Ok, I’ve written several songs. But, either they didn’t turn out very good, or they’re just the kind of poetry you don’t really wanna go around showing everyone. You know, like a journal entry kind of poem. πŸ˜‰

This song I wrote is one of my favorites I’ve written. I actually got inspired after watching It’s a Wonderful Life with my siblings. I shall I say, re-inspired? πŸ˜‰ At the end of the movie, they sing Auld Lang Syne, a traditional Scottish Folk song. I’ve heard a lot of songs to the tune of Auld Lang Syne, and I’ve always wanted to write one to that tune. But, I never really got around to it. When I watched the movie, I got re-inspired and spent the next couple of days working on this song. Here ’tis!! πŸ˜‰

Unending Love

By Rosy Marr

Verse 1

Lord Jesus, what a loving friend,

Who left His throne above,

Oh, to redeem the sinner’s soul,

With His unending Love

Chorus

With his unending love,

With his unending love,

Oh, to redeem the sinner’s soul,

With his unending love

Verse 2

He lifted me from depths of hell,

He saved me with His blood,

He pulled me out of deep despair,

With His unending love

Chorus

With his unending love,

With his unending love,

Oh, to redeem the sinner’s soul,

With his unending love

Verse 3

What wondrous gift bestowed on us,

He sent His son beloved,

In love, the Shepherd sought me out,

With His unending love!

To God be the Glory,

Thanks for tagging me Hattush, this was fun! πŸ™‚

Ok, so for those of you who are wondering why I posted the last day of this tag twice, and for you who are wondering why I’m so late in posting this, I decided to redo my last post.

After I posted my last blog post (3 Days, 3 Quotes – Day Three) I realized that some of the people I quoted did not reflect a biblical worldview, so I decided to delete that one, and completely redo it. I’m so sorry, and I apologize for any confusion I caused. Thank you!

I hope everyone is having a great Lord’s Day. ☺

A Rambling Post

Standard

Hello people! I have nothing else to do at the moment, and it’s been 5 days since I’ve posted, so… I’m sitting here. Typing this. For you. To read. ;P πŸ˜…

Please forgive any strangeness in this post, because I am tired. Like, tired. That might have something to do with 1) I went to bed pretty late last night. 2) I am potty training my brother James, starting today. (I’m practicing to be a mother someday y’all!) Lol.

So yeah, today has been a whirlwind. And he actually made it to the toilet like, one whole time! (I won’t mention the other dozen or so times…) Lol. But, he’s making progress! Slowly, but surely. πŸ˜‰Β  ❀

In other news…. Oh, I should totally tell you about last Sunday! It was a great time!

So, we had our first Domingo Largo (Long Sunday) on the 28th. We started at about 11:00 in the morning. Dad preached a sermon, then everyone ate lunch together. After that, we played lots of volleyball, which was fun! Then Heber, (a man in our church) preached another message. After that, we played more volleyball, then some soccer. We had a great time visiting too. ❀ It was a wonderful day! πŸ™‚

Ok, I’ll upload some pictures for ya. Just a second… πŸ˜‰

Ok, here. πŸ™‚

Sitting around, and reading the Bible ❀

It was an awesome day! (Except for the fact that I’m sunburned and look like a tomato… XD πŸ…πŸ…πŸ…) Lol.

Ok, I have to go soon. πŸ™‚ First, here’s a song that I’ve been enjoying lately. (I’m actually listening to it right now, but by the time you see this, I probably won’t be…) πŸ˜‚

Also, I read this verse in my Bible a couple days ago, and it has been on my mind ever since. How encouraging!

Ok, gotta go! Thanks for reading my late night ramblings people! (And excuse any typos…)

Have a great night everyone! πŸ™‚πŸ™ƒ

Update From the Past Month

Standard

So, the last few weeks have been… Hard. And sad, and good, and fun, and rough, and sweet, and awful, and happy, and terrible… Bitter and sweet. And yeah. That pretty much explains it.

Last week we went to Pheonix, Arizona to attend the unexpected funeral of our little friend, Joshua Young. ❀️ Please pray for his family during this time of loss. πŸ˜”Β β€οΈΒ Here’s a song that has been an encouragement to me over the last few days. Actually, here’s two!

I got to visit quite a few friends in Arizona last week! πŸ™‚ ❀

More singing<3

And in other news family news… We got sick, bought a keyboard and spent 2 days in the car together. (During which, we passed the time by listening to Jonothan Park, and Lamplighter Theatre!)

Also, the peaches on our peach tree are starting to get ripe, which I’m excited about because they are SO. GOOD. πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹

Yuuum!!!! πŸ˜€

So, a few weeks ago we went to the graduation party of someone we know. There was a lot of visiting and food, and all of us ladies and girls spent a lot of time talking, laughing and watching some of the men and boys playing soccer. It was a very enjoyable time. πŸ™‚

For the meal, they cooked up the pig. (The one you see down below.) Hopefully y’all aren’tΒ tooΒ grossed out by this! ;P While we were eating, we sat and watched our food’s head dangling in front of us. πŸ™‚ Dad got up and took a selfie with his friend, ElΒ Cochi. (The Pig)

Well, I should probably head to bed now… It’s almost 10:00 at night here. πŸ˜‰ I think I will post this tomorrow though. I’ll probably be able to check for typos and stuff better after I get some sleep… XD πŸ™‚

Life is Hard, But God is Good

Life is Hard, But God is Good

Life is Hard, But God is God.

~Anne Beiler

When I first saw this quote, I really, really liked it. I wrote it down in my journal, and it has been an encouragement to me the last few months. It reminds me that even when life seems too hard to bear, and when circumstance are difficult, God is still with me, and He cares. Because He’s still God! He always has been, and always will be. He’s the Alpha and the Omega- the Beginning and the End. And everything in between.

LIFE-IS-HARD

He has all power, and we can trust Him with our lives. He knows what is best for us, even more than we, or any one else, could ever know! So, when things are in life are not going as we plan, or we’re going to tough trials, we can always depend on Him, because guys… He seriously knows what He’s doing!
