September 2021 Recap

Hey everyone! I’M BACK!! After a trip, and getting sick for a few days, I’m finally here and ready to blog again. I’ll have more details about that later! 😁

Oh and yeah, so sorry this post is so late. Again, I was sick. XD Let’s see how much of September I can even remember – at least from the beginning!

*ALERT: Lots and lots of pictures ahead…. Enter at your own risk* ;P

~Well, you already know about our Apple Harvest. That was a good productive time!

~Right after that, my Grandma and (13 year old) Aunt Abigail came to stay with us while my parents went on a trip together. It was so much fun to get to spend some time with them!

Giant selfie! (Or Us-ie…?) XD

Lizzie and I with Abigail

I love all these pictures of Grandma and each of us kids! ❀️

Mom and Dad went to the Copper canyon together, which is a few hours away from here. They rode the world’s longest zip-line, hiked, went boating and did other fun stuff together!

When they got back, we had a hotdog roast for my brother Andy’s 13th birthday

We planted pumpkins for the first time ever, and I love them! I definitely want to start planting them every year. They’re so pretty! Can’t wait to make some pies and other pumpkin-y treats with them. πŸ˜€

After that, I think we just did normal stuff, got sick, and got ready for our trip. So skip all that, and now you’re caught up to the fun part! You’re welcome. πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜€

~FAMILY CAMP! This was probably my highlight of the entire year… It was amazing to spend a couple of days with our great friends at Heritage Baptist Church. I don’t have a whole ton of pictures – instead I’m making a video. But it’s not done yet, so. πŸ˜… I do have some though!

We sang a LOT during camp. Friday night, we played guitar and sang until around 11:30 I think, and I pretty much lost my voice the rest of the night.πŸ˜… Totally worth it though, because I enjoyed that time so much. πŸ˜€

My fellow redhead, Gabby, and I braided our hair together, which was really fun/funny! πŸ˜…

Congregational singing

Camp was amazing – way better than I’m making it sound at the moment. πŸ˜‚ Hopefully I’ll be able to share the video I’m making about it later. For now, gotta keep working on it! πŸ˜‰

~While there, we also visited another church and had some good fellowship with friends we hadn’t seen in awhile, as well as some new friends. πŸ˜€

~After Family Camp, we stayed in AZ for another week or so to visit with friends, and also for a wedding! (Pictures of that will have to be in a future post, since that happened in October, not September… lol.)

Anyway, we had a great visiting our friends, the Hublers. We got to spend a good bit of the day with them. We took a spur of the moment trip to the store for ice cream, which we brought home and ate with homemade cookies. So fun!!!!

Playing Chess with Gabby. She creamed me big time, but it was still lots of fun!!!

A few days later we went to the Petzold’s house, which was awesome, and a whole new fun adventure in itself!

I did some recording with Kyra, which was a lot of fun!!

Last time we were together, we accidentally took a picture where it looked like Annika’s arm was really long. We decided to try and redo that picture, and here are our results. I think it turned out pretty good, haha!! πŸ˜‚

They made some amazing, delicious pies!!

Well, I’d probably better start to bring this post to an end now, so let’s get on with this month’s stats. πŸ™‚

February 2021 Recap!

Hey everyone!!

IT’S ALREADY ALMOST THE THIRD MONTH OF 2021!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooow!!!!!!! I find that hard to believe… February just flew right by. It was a great month though! At least I think it was. I forget what even happened. Consequently, I’m just as excited as you to find out, LOL!

~Sometimes near the beginning of February, our family, plus our friend Susanna who was visiting us, had a hotdog and s’mores roast. T’was a lot of fun! We used healthy homemade marshmallows for the s’mores. πŸ˜„ πŸ˜‹

~Sometime around the same time, mom, Grace, Lizzie, Susanna and I went on a girl’s date kinda thing. We went out to eat, and to a thrift store! (you can see what I got at the thrift store HERE!) It was a BLAST!

~We went out to eat (AGAIN?!) with Susanna. It’s kinda a tradition to take our American friends to this restaurant when they visit, so we had no choice. We don’t usually go out to eat this much, lol!

Shortly aftwerwards, Susanna left, and we all missed her lots. ❀

~Siblings selfies! πŸ˜‚ πŸ‘Œ

~Doing a class with a couple of my siblings πŸ˜„

~A few days ago was the 5th anniversary of our ministry here in Mexico! Here is a picture of us last Sunday.

~Last Monday (the 22nd), Ruthie, Susy and I went to the Border with Dad to get mail, go shopping and stuff like that. πŸ™‚ It was a very fun trip!

πŸš™ πŸ›£ πŸ‘Œ πŸ€“πŸŒ… πŸ‡²πŸ‡½ β†’ πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ πŸ˜„ 😎 πŸŒ„ πŸ’Ÿ 🧒 πŸ˜‚

Hey everyone! πŸ˜€

IT’S FEBRUARY!!! Well, actually it’s not. Yet. TWO MORE DAYS! πŸ˜€ It’s hard to believe the first month of 2021 is over. Well, technically not, but practically!πŸ˜‚

Ok I’ll stop now, LOL.

This months Bujo theme is……

Red/Pink/Hearts!

SO unoriginal, I know. I’m sure you guys are shocked that I would even think of such a thing for February.

Ok, all sarcasm aside….. I know that this is a super unoriginal theme for February, and I was planning on doing something else at first. However, I just decided that I felt like doing hearts and everything, so I’m doin’ it. (Even though probably 53,490 people have probably already done it before!) πŸ˜‚ 😜

Ok, so here is the cover page, and a Bible verse that I thought fit well with the theme.

After that, I have my February calendar. I messed up on the edge of the second page, so I just decided to cut it off, and try a dutch door for the first time. πŸ™‚ I think it turned out pretty good.

On the other side of the dutch door, I have random trackers, and then a mood tracker.

My habit tracker… πŸ˜€ I used a similar design as I did last month, because it worked really well for me.

And I gratitude log, where I shall *attempt* to write down something I’m thankful for each day.

I made a Blog and Youtube tracker to track my posts, as well as a page to track the books I’m reading.

And lastly, here is the first of my weekly spread. Yes, I am very aware that I spelled “February” wrong on this page. And yes, it bothers me tremendously. Lol! XD

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Feel free to copy anything I do in you own journal. πŸ˜€

I’m really excited for February, and I hope y’all have a great month!!

I Wrote a Song… :)

Standard

Hey guys! πŸ˜€

So… I did a thing. I wrote a song! Ok, I’ve written several songs. But, either they didn’t turn out very good, or they’re just the kind of poetry you don’t really wanna go around showing everyone. You know, like a journal entry kind of poem. πŸ˜‰

This song I wrote is one of my favorites I’ve written. I actually got inspired after watching It’s a Wonderful Life with my siblings. I shall I say, re-inspired? πŸ˜‰ At the end of the movie, they sing Auld Lang Syne, a traditional Scottish Folk song. I’ve heard a lot of songs to the tune of Auld Lang Syne, and I’ve always wanted to write one to that tune. But, I never really got around to it. When I watched the movie, I got re-inspired and spent the next couple of days working on this song. Here ’tis!! πŸ˜‰

Unending Love

By Rosy Marr

Verse 1

Lord Jesus, what a loving friend,

Who left His throne above,

Oh, to redeem the sinner’s soul,

With His unending Love

Chorus

With his unending love,

With his unending love,

Oh, to redeem the sinner’s soul,

With his unending love

Verse 2

He lifted me from depths of hell,

He saved me with His blood,

He pulled me out of deep despair,

With His unending love

Chorus

With his unending love,

With his unending love,

Oh, to redeem the sinner’s soul,

With his unending love

Verse 3

What wondrous gift bestowed on us,

He sent His son beloved,

In love, the Shepherd sought me out,

With His unending love!

To God be the Glory,

Little Brother Photoshoot

Standard

Hey guys! So, I know I haven’t done very many photography posts lately, but that’s because I honestly haven’t been taking very many pictures for a while. It’s because I’ve had… well, what you might call the photographers’ version of Writer’s Block. So Photographer’s Block I guess. XD um, is that a real thing? xD It should be.

Anyway, thankfully I’m getting over that now. So a few days ago I did a photoshoot of my adorable little brother James, and I love how it turned out! He is THE cutest, bestest, sweetest little bro anyone could ask for. ❀ ❀

James, 2019, 3

Those eyes! ❀

Aaaaah, his blue eyes!!!!

Bonus picture:

So, during the photoshoot, I asked James to reach up into the apple tree, and pretend he was picking an apple. I did that, and Philip said, “Take a picture of me doing that!” So he reached up into the tree to pretend to pick an apple, but the apple accidentally came down in his hand. We weren’t technically supposed to pick any apple yet since they weren’t ripe, and this was his face. XD XD

IMG_2050

HAHA, isn’t that epic? XD

James and I had such fun with this photoshoot. He’s the best. ❀ So are all my siblings. πŸ˜‰ ❀

Also, Gracie and I finally took the video for our Q&A. Sorry we took so long. More on that in the video. πŸ˜‰ I can’t wait to get that finished and edited so I can post it soon! πŸ™‚

Hope you all are having a wonderful day!

Rosy
