One of my favorite times of the year is Spring, when it’s getting warmer and the flowers start to bloom. The world gets greener as new life springs up everywhere around me, and I just want to praise God for His beautiful Creation.
“O LORD, how manifold are your works! In wisdom have you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.” Psalm 104:24
I especially love to photograph flowers when they begin to bloom. I’ve done of lot of peach blossom photography, but I haven’t taken many photos of apple blossoms. This is strange, since our house is literally surrounded on all sides by several different apple orchards. (We live in the biggest apple producing area in Mexico.) So this Spring it was one of my goals to photograph some apple blossoms, so one morning in early April I drove to a nearby orchard for a photoshoot. I went at around 8:00 in the morning, so that the sun would be low in the sky for the perfect lighting. It wasn’t quite as low as I would have liked, but still good. 😀
Anyways, on to the photos! (I took about 250 in total, but of course, I will only be posting a few of my favorites.) XD
So many flowers!!!
The colors of some of the flowers were so vibrant!
Some were bright pink, while others were almost white.
Look at those details! ❤
The flowers look so pretty against the blue sky.
I had so much fun with this, especially since I hadn’t really done a full-out photoshoot in quite a while. I’m so glad I had this opportunity. 😄 Thank you so much for reading this post, and I hope you enjoyed these pictures! ❤️
Love,
Rosy 🌸
“Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.” Jeremiah 32:17
Hey everyone! I’m just popping in to tell you guys all about our trip to our grandparent’s house a couple of weeks ago. 😄 (I mentioned it briefly in THIS POST) 🙂 I showed y’all a few pictures, but I have a bunch more here for you guys!
Warning: This may be a long post, so get ready! XD
My grandparent’s live in the mountains of Coahuila, Mexico, about a days drive from our house. We left early in the morning (around 4:00 am, I think). And somehow I was actually able to doze on and off a bit between 5 and 6, which was nice! At around 7:30, we stopped at a burrito stand for breakfast. (If you know me, you know that’s my favorite part of any trip – getting burritos from one of those burrito stands on the side of the road.) Ok, maybe not my FAVORITE, but I love it. Don’t worry, being with my grandparents was much better.😉😂
Waiting for our burritos in Parral, Chihuahua 😁
Of course, I had to take pictures of my delicious burrito!
After that, we settled down for our long journey, listening to the daring adventures of Ranger Bill along the way. (Ever since our friends, the Cooks, gave the audio drama to us, no trip has been complete without it!)😂
(Oh, and I forgot to mention, Lizzie brought her dog Jock. He actually did really well in the van.) 🙂
And this is how we entertain ourselves in the car… LOL! Poor dog! 🤣
After that, everyone had to try on the sunglasses. 😎
Bekah and I worked in our bullet journals for a while, despite the constant bumping and jostling of the car. (Mexican highways are so much bumpier than in the States) XD We didn’t end up doing for too long though, so we wouldn’t end up ruining our journals forever. 😂 But it was still fun!
Me. Taking a photo. In the gas station bathroom. Brilliant, I know! XD LOL.
After that, we spent the rest of our time reading, being weird and laughing too hard, singing to instrumental bluegrass hymns, being bored, and looking forward to getting there. 😀
I also found some neat photography opportunities at a couple of the gas stations. 😀 I really like how they turned out! 😀
My sister, Grace, tried taking a picture of me… The sun was so bright, it uh, didn’t exactly turn out…! 🤣 🤓 ☀️ So yeah, enjoy this super weird picture of me. 😉
Well, after driving for most of the day, we finally arrived!
The mountains around their house are so pretty!!! ❤️ ⛰
While there, my friend Carolina (Caro) came for a visit. It was so awesome to finally be here after being friends online for quite a while! 😀 We had a lot of fun together!!! 💕
Caro and I!
We took LOTS of pictures. I’m only showing you a few of them, haha!
Love this one!!!
And of course, we had to take at least 1 silly picture. Or 35. But I’ll save your guy’s sanity, and only show you one. 😉
Caro and I made matching bracelets (anklets actually), which was a lot of fun! She taught me this really neat friendship bracelet, which I’ve been wanting to learn for a long time! SO MUCH FUN! 😍 💖
My Aunt Abigail, and Caro. LOVE IT!
Caro and me. With um, stickers on our faces…? LOL!
Caro, Ruthie and I!Abigail and I!
More fun pictures!
And more….!!! 😀 ❤
On Friday, we went to church, and my dad preached and led singing. 😄
After Church, we (SURPRISE) took even more pictures! Haha!
I love this picture!
LOVE IT!
Some of us, and another friend who came to visit -Erika. 😀
Caro and I! (well, our hands at least…!) Haha!
While we were there, my parent’s celebrated their 19th anniversary, and my Grandma, Aunt, Sisters and I set up a date night for them in the bedroom. 😀
I made this cards to put on their table. (And it was my first time using a real calligraphy pen, so that was super fun!) 😀
And yeah, I think that’s about it!
And, I just realized, I have no pictures with my grandpa, or grandpa! (How did that happen?!) 😲 Well, I love you very much Grandpa and Grandma, and I’m sorry I didn’t get pictures with you guys. To make up, I’ll just have to post this pictures from another 2019.
(I love you, Grandpa and Grandma!!) 💖
Hope you guys enjoyed the pictures. It was an awesome, super fun trip! ❤
A few days ago, our peach tree (finally) blossomed, and I was super excited to photograph them. I’ve been waiting for the tree to blossom so I could take pictures!!! Here are some of my favorites from the shoot. 🙂
I love this one!
I love this bee!! ❤
And that’s it! I love how this photoshoot turned out!! 😀 ❤

I came here to say something. I just can’t remember what. What could this blog post possibly about? 🤔😂😜
Oh yes! The winners of my photography contest. Although I can’t imagine why you would possibly be interested.
Ok, enough of that! 😂 WE HAVE A WINNER! After talking it over with both my parents and lots of deliberation….. (It was SO hard to choose!) And also, to be fair, I did not know who took what picture until after I was finished judging. 😉

For the last while I have been trying to find a good day for a Fall photoshoot, but each day has been too cloudy and rainy… Yesterday afternoon it was finally clear enough to get some good pictures!
I started out with a few pictures taken at our house.
And, I just got some cool new shoes, which I love, so…. Consequently, there are now quite a few pictures taken of them. But, I won’t bore you with all of them. Just three of them. XD
After that, I wanted to drive to an apple orchard nearby to take some pictures there. So I went and took my sister, Gracie, with me! 🙂
After that, Grace and I took mini photoshoots of each other, which was a lot of fun!
My pictures of Grace…
Grace’s pictures of me… (She did a good job!)
Ok, well that’s about it! Wow, that was a LONG post, with a LOT of pictures… XD I had a lot of fun with that photoshoot! 😀
Here’s a chocolate chip cookie for anyone who stayed until the end…! 😉
Ok, I just succeeded in making this post even longer… XD I’ll go now. ;P
~Rosy
Which picture was your favorite? Did you stay till the end? ;P Are you excited for Fall? 😀
Hey guys! So, I know I haven’t done very many photography posts lately, but that’s because I honestly haven’t been taking very many pictures for a while. It’s because I’ve had… well, what you might call the photographers’ version of Writer’s Block. So Photographer’s Block I guess. XD um, is that a real thing? xD It should be.
Anyway, thankfully I’m getting over that now. So a few days ago I did a photoshoot of my adorable little brother James, and I love how it turned out! He is THE cutest, bestest, sweetest little bro anyone could ask for. ❤ ❤
Those eyes! ❤
Aww!
I love his face in this one!
He was laughing at his brother Philip, who was in the tree. 😉
❤ LOVE THIS ONE ❤
He looks like he’s thinking really hard about something.
This smile is sooo great!
Aw!
Love this kid so much! ❤
Aaaaah, his blue eyes!!!!
Bonus picture:
So, during the photoshoot, I asked James to reach up into the apple tree, and pretend he was picking an apple. I did that, and Philip said, “Take a picture of me doing that!” So he reached up into the tree to pretend to pick an apple, but the apple accidentally came down in his hand. We weren’t technically supposed to pick any apple yet since they weren’t ripe, and this was his face. XD XD
HAHA, isn’t that epic? XD
James and I had such fun with this photoshoot. He’s the best. ❤ So are all my siblings. 😉 ❤
Also, Gracie and I finally took the video for our Q&A. Sorry we took so long. More on that in the video. 😉 I can’t wait to get that finished and edited so I can post it soon! 🙂
Hey everyone! We’re finally back from our trip!! 😀 (In case you don’t know, our family went on a two week trip to Alabama for a family reunion. We also went to Georgia to visit several friends. We had a great time!!) 😀
Here are some pictures from our trip. 🙂 (Btw, I vlogged (video blogged) about the trip too, so ya’ll will get to see that video soon! 😀 )
We got the see the ocean for the first time on our way home! It was so beautiful! 😀 ❤
James is so cute! ❤
Beach photography!
Our Uncle and Aunt took us to the zoo. Sadly, I forgot my camera, but here are some pictures off my uncle’s phone. 😉
Some of my siblings and I (Lacking two), and my cousin. (The boy in the green shirt.)
Cousins!
Philip and Susy make great lions!
OH! And I finally got to meet my good friend Amie!!!! 😀 We had such a fun time together! Her whole family is awesome. 😉 ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
We had a BLAST! 😀 We also made a video together, which you will get to see… later. 😉
Andy and Cousin Eddie invented a new way to have water balloon fights… Just smash the baboons on each other’s heads! LOL! XD I guess they weren’t getting wet enough the real way… ;P
Mom and her new-found cousin and Uncle. Probably more on that in a later post. No promises, but… probably! 😉
Lizzie and a friend’s dog.
We spent a looong time in the car… Like, 6 days worth of driving… Ugh! To pass the time, we listened to a lot of Jonathan Park, Brinkman Adventures, and sermons by Israel Wayne. 🙂 So it wasn’t so bad. 😉 We did have a few really carsick kids though… XD
Y’all. I LOVED the South. It was sooo pretty, and I loved the people, the accent (lol!), the trees… And guys, the GREENNESS!!! 🌳🌲🍃 It was so beautiful! I loved it all! Except for the ticks. Death to all ticks. Seriously, if it hadn’t been for the ticks, I probably would have moved there. Ok, maybe not quite… ;P XD
Well, I hope you enjoyed these pictures! Keep on the look out for a video about the trip, where you can see all you just saw, and lot’s more! 🙂 And also the video about our visit with Amie. (Amie’s making that one.) I can’t wait to see it!! :D😁
See you soon! (Figuratively speaking.) 😉
Rosy
Have you ever seen the ocean?
Are you looking forward to seeing the video about our trip?
