May Bullet Journal Set Up (+April Recap Part 2)

Hey everybody! I’m finally here with my May Bujo set up. πŸ˜€

This time I again tried to cut down on pages, even more than last time, to save pages and make my journal last longer. πŸ˜‰ I did the whole thing in only a few pages! Thus, the whole set up didn’t take me as long as usual to complete, and I like it that way. (Because I don’t have time to spend 5 years working on spreads for one month. Haha!) 🀣

May’s theme is…..

Butterflys!!!

I’ve been wanted to use this as a theme, well, ever since I bought some really pretty butterfly sticker on amazon. πŸ˜‚

And yeah, let’s just get into it!! πŸ˜€

The May cover page is similar to my April cover page. I just liked it so much, I had to do it again! I really love how it turned out – it looks so cheerful and spring-y!! πŸ’™ πŸ¦‹

Next up, are my goals for May, my word of the month (Servant), habit tracker, and mood tracker. I told you guys I was using less pages! Normally, each of those would take a whole page, haha!

Now we have maybe my favorite page (it’s tied with all the other pages), my book tracker, and a Line a Day. (Where I simply write a line about my day, each day.) πŸ˜€

A few more trackers (Social tracker, Bible Reading, and Goals and Rewards. And yes, I know that I haven’t finished the Goals and Rewards section. Still trying to think of rewards! Any ideas???)

After that, the only spread left to share is my daily spread. Super simple and functional. πŸ˜€

And that’s it for my bullet journal this month, folks! I hope you guys enjoyed!

And there’s just one more thing I wanted to add in. This has absolutely nothing to do with the topic of this post, but a few days ago when I posted my April Recap, I missed something very important! Some thing that was a lot of fun, and I don’t know how I ever could have ever missed it! Lol. XD

So I’m just going to call this section, April Recap, Part 2. πŸ˜‚

Around mid-April, our family went with another family up to the mountains to visit another family. (Ok sorry, that was a slightly confusing sentence! Just read it again, until you get it.) πŸ˜‰ LOL!

We went with the Garcia family, and we visited a man named Juan and his family, who lives a few hours away, far from civilization. (Well, not really far, but it feels far since it takes so long to get there because of the roads, lol!)

We got there for around lunch time, and we brought hot dogs for lunch. We used our special invention to cook them over the fire. (our special invention being chicken wire, which we lay about 20 hot dogs on top of, over the fire, to cook a bunch of them at once and save time!) XD If that didn’t make sense, see the photo below. I’m sorry, I’m bad at explaining things. LOL! πŸ˜‚

After lunch, we all decided do go on a hike. We drove a little ways to a good starting place, and then off we went!

The Mountains are so pretty!!

Selfie with my water bottle. Why? I don’t know. All I know, is that it was gone in like the next three strides, and I had no more water the rest of the way. LOL!

On the way, we came across this wall/cliff made of white sand. Everyone else probably thought, “oh, a wall of White sand! Cool, and bye.” but Lizzie and I thought, “Oh, a wall of white sand! LET’S CLIMB IT!” So we did.

(And I definitely did not rip my skirt twice in the process…. Don’t worry, it’s fixed now) πŸ˜‰ 🀣

We got stuck half way to the top, and couldn’t go any farther because there were no branches to hang on to. So we did the next logical thing, and slid all the way to the bottom (Filling our shoes with dirt) and into the tiny stream below (thereby filling them with water. THEREBY! We were muddy.) LOL! πŸ˜‚ 🀣

After walking 37 miles (or 1 1/2 I guess maybe), we reached our destination – a small (but large for the area) pool of water. πŸ˜€

After spending a little while there, talking and wading in the water *trying* to catch the fish, we headed back.

(And I most certainly was not so thirsty on the way back that I drank some of the stream water.) Hey, it was (mostly) clear!!! LOL! 🀣🀣🀣

When we got back to Juan’s house, we had a little bit of Bible reading and singing time which was great. πŸ˜€

Philip and Me

And there y’all have it, folks! πŸ˜€ It was a great time, and believe me, we got home tired, lol! XD I hope you guys enjoyed the photos, and I’ll see you in my next post! I hope everyone is having a great day. πŸ’•

I’m off to make some cheese! πŸ˜‚ πŸ§€
